Starred by Mr. Paul Giamatti , who am not a frequent spectator but even with that, this independent film has moments full of family drama that make you feel connected with the characters in a really intense level.

Win Win has a family history, intertwined with legal decisions backed by lies, creating an ostentatious climax, where the familiar stability of a teenager is impaired and – or benefited by a man seeking help him, in order to continue feeding his family.

Kyle’s character, played by the young actor Alex Shaffer, shines for his honest acting, maybe seem a little bit loose and sulky, but after a few scenes, and inquiring the plot, you can realize that that is the essence of the character.

Win win is an interesting and slow film, which can be tedious, but take you out an occasional laugh, and leaves a good teaching. The Lies always end up being discovered, or as my mom says “To who do wrongs the tamal gets rotten”.
